Class Focus: Nature Art Installations
All camps located on private land, “New Arcadia”, a short walk into the enchanted forest and in the shade at the StarHouse, 11 minutes from downtown Boulder. For ages 6-12, maximum of 14 campers.
This week’s camp is all about creating in concert with nature’s colorful and showy palette. In addition to building a group nature loom and personal plant presses, we will also be making land art installations inspired by the incredible work of Andy Goldsworthy. Put on your leaf-colored glasses and bring your artist out to play!
All weeks of camp include a fun and balanced approach to the day; blending hands-on projects with free play by the creek and under the trees. We love energetic group games, music and storytelling, and of course, we enjoy eating together--all campers please bring a sack lunch, snack and water bottle.
