Map Makers & the Great Treasure Hunt (June 26-30)

from 295.00

Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm  Optional Early Care from 8:30-9am with LAS & After Care from 3-5pm, with BVWS.

Join us for a week of map-making and treasure hunting!  With our camp being located on 38 acres, we have a lot of territory to explore and map. Learn basic map making skills, and design real and imaginary maps, while preparing for a "treasure hunt" on the land.  This treasure hunt will involve basic plant and bird identification, as well as a few man-made treasures as well... Treasure hunters have to keep their strength up as well, so this week's camp will include a few baking/cooking projects for provisions to take on our way.

All weeks of camp include a fun and balanced approach to the day; blending crafts with outdoor free play, energetic group games, music and storytelling. And of course, we enjoy eating together--all campers please bring a sack lunch, snack and water bottle.

For ages 5-10, minimum of 8 campers, maximum of 24.
